First of all, the most important thing: The boss Andi provides a great wedding location with the Karlingberger Gut. During the organization, however, we were promised and promised many things that were simply forgotten on day X. The boss knows how to entertain people and present everything positively and beautifully under the motto wedding. Unfortunately, we found that much of this was not adhered to. Now our experience in detail: We celebrated our wedding here. The location is very nice, the waiters were very attentive and were praised several times by our guests. Everyone also enjoyed the food very much. From the outside it really seemed like the perfect wedding location. But communication with the bosses and the joint organization turned out to be an absolute disaster. As usual, we booked the location a year in advance. The first answers to our booking request came very quickly via email. But from the moment our booking was confirmed, communication virtually came to a standstill. We tried to call and email the bosses for months. No reaction. It was only after 3 months that we received an answer. The further detailed planning of the wedding day became a farce. We had a phone call and a meeting at the Karlingberger Gut, where the details were agreed upon and handwritten by the boss Andi. We were then promised that “our script” would be sent to us by email. This was sent to us once after weeks of waiting and remembering. After the second meeting and a few changes, we were no longer sent anything. A few weeks before the wedding we came into contact with the bosses again and asked them to answer a few questions about the wedding. However, it turned out that this questionnaire asked everything that we had already agreed upon in previous meetings. Nevertheless, we made the effort and mentioned all the points discussed again. Then on the wedding day something happened that we never expected. Many of the agreed upon details were simply forgotten. There was no starter, the midnight buffet was only goulash soup, although a potato goulash was also agreed upon (my wife is a vegetarian). An in-house shuttle service was arranged at night to take the guests to their hotels. This was simply forgotten and the majority of our guests had to walk home that night. The day after the wedding, my wife surprised me with an introductory golf course on the Karlingberger Gut property. However, the bosses had not agreed and the course could not take place. I could list a few more situations that really upset us, but that would go beyond the scope of this review. We really enjoyed the wedding itself, but the communication and organization before and after the wedding absolutely needs improvement. I hope that this review is taken seriously and encourages the bosses to make improvements so that future brides and grooms can rely on the bosses' words.
